Nourish Yourself

What do we say when we're hungry?  Although most of us have no real idea what it feels like, we usually say, "I'm starving."  Many Christians are indeed starving spiritually! It's not uncommon to experience a deep unexplained emptiness - not in the stomach but - in the soul or spirit.  Jesus said, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in Me." (John 15:4). To stay connected to The True Vine (John 15:1) demands a life of discipline - stay in The Word, meditating on it day and night. Are you starving yourself spiritually? Nourish yourself in Christ through His Word. ​
