Tremble and Trust

Where I live, tremors aren't very common - can't say I too sad about that! Spiritually speaking, few today tremble before Almighty God. David writes, "Tremble, and do not sin; meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and trust in the LORD." (Psalm 4:4-5).  It's interesting and notable the progression: trembling precedes not sinning which precedes being still which precedes trusting. In other words, stand in awe and reverence  - choose righteousness over unrighteousness - be dumbly and silently still - be securely and boldly confident in the LORD. Tremble and Trust! ​
