God of the Details
"The devil is in the details" - a phrase meant to remind us of things often overlooked or forgotten. It's usually the paper products or the ice or the cranberry sauce left chillin' in the fridge. One thing Believers must never forget is that God leaves nothing to chance or happenstance! When giving Moses the instructions for His design of the Ark of the Covenant, God didn't tell Moses to ask around or take applications and interview those who were skilled in building; no, God had already chosen one: "Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “See, I have called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. I have filled him with The Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of craftsmanship, to make artistic designs for work in gold, in silver, and in bronze, and in the cutting of stones for settings, and in the carving of wood, that he may work in all kinds of craftsmanship." (Exodus 31:1-5). God called Bezalel and God equipped Bezalel for the specific work to which he had been chosen. When Believers determine to live as God commands, we can rest assuredly that He will provide all the wisdom, strength and direction necessary! Just like God intended that Bezalel do His work on The Ark of The Covenant, God filled him with everything necessary to obey and to complete the work. Is there something specific God has called you to do? If so, is fear or apprehension paralyzed you in saying "yes" and moving forward? Remember, God equips those He calls! Say "yes, Lord" and leave the details to Him!
