Always

We live in a world of super duper discount centers which are open around the clock. One famous store even boasts the word "always" over its doors!

God is Always - always faithful, always loving, always patient, always forgiving, always caring, always gracious, always merciful ... just always. Because we seem to "always" struggle, praise Him for being our Always! The struggle began in the garden and has not since ceased. Because God knows struggles often overtake us, He said, "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." (James 4:10). A good humble admission of "I can't do this" is just what God is listening and waiting for. That's His "always" call -- to show up best in our weakness. Always ... that's our God!
