No Walls

There’s lots of talk about building a wall these days J.  One forgotten wall is the one between us and God when we live apart from His precepts.  Just like a literal wall is built brick-by-brick, a spiritual wall is erected sin-by-sin.  Asking God for forgiveness breaks down spiritual walls but we must be faithful to do so.  When we break a commandment and nothing happens, take care the offense is no light thing else the forgotten wall easily becomes a neglected wall. “He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth His ways shall die.” (Proverbs 19:16).  An occasional sin should not be mistaken for a casual sin.  In God’s eyes, sin is sin is sin, and all who sin are in need of forgiveness.  Instead of building walls, may we seek to break down walls through confession and forgiveness.
