True Beauty

Seventeen, recently graduated and engaged to be married, I began my first real job! Of all the things the most memorable about that job was watching the boss every morning opened a small case and put-on her eyelashes! Beauty details - oh, the attention we give to them. Apostle Peter writes about a lasting beauty: "Let your [adornment] be [the inner beauty of] the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceable spirit which is very precious in the sight of God." (1 Peter 3:4). In a time of loud and riotous behavior, what could be more attractive than the fruit of a gentle and peaceful heart! Search the store shelves if you must but you'll find this Beauty Product only within a [Holy] Spirit-filled life. That is, if you're interested in real beauty!
