Little Sprouts

Gardening is neither a strength nor a hobby of mine. I do, however, have a small garden of potted plants.  Just like tender shoots of a plant, according to God’s purpose, spiritual seeds take root.  A word spoken or a deed done for Christ is never wasted! “I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before Him.” (Ecclesiastes 3:14).  The real tragedy is when we fail to speak and fail to do, that is, plant spiritual seeds for God’s kingdom.  Scripture makes clear we plant and God grows the seed (1 Corinthians 3:6).  How delightful when God gives sprout to seeds He has used us to plant!  Are you speaking and doing for The Lord of the harvest?  Let us faithfully plant and pray as we watch for little sprouts!
