One-Way Journey

 There are several ways to travel to our favorite beach spot. Mister Bill, however, seems to believe there is really only ... one way! God's Word is clear about the only way to Himself.  If you listen to the world, there's enough routes to produce an atlas!  One popular idea is that as long as we're all moving in the same direction God doesn't care which route we take. Jesus didn't dance-around the matter; He said, "I am The Way, and The Truth, and The Life; no one comes to The Father but through Me." (John 14:6). How puzzling His words are misunderstood. The Way is neither lonely nor misguided; no, Jesus promised a Companion and Helper: "I will ask The Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever ... The Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things." (14:16, 26). See, God graciously provided The Way as well as The Companion and Guidance! Literally, Believers have everything needed for living - He planned this One-Way journey perfectly!
