Experience Him
Math was never my strong subject; truth is, I received my lowest grade in Algebra. My problem wasn't comprehension, it was a foundational problem. I paid more attention to the silly boys who sat behind me than I did the teacher, missing the basic elements of the subject. Perhaps this is why so many Believers miss a deep and rich relationship with God. Just like Algebra is progressively built on core principles, so is the Believer's faith. Paul wrote, "Be fully capable of comprehending with all God's people the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [through your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God's presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]." (Ephesians 3:18-19, AMP). Unless we pursue the depths of God, have a clear and fundamental understanding of His Nature and Perfect Character, we will never rightly know nor fully comprehend that love that surpasses knowledge. It is not mere knowledge of His Love that pierces the heart of man - no! It is The Power of God and Christ's redemptive work on the cross and His defeat of death resulted in an empty tomb. I challenge you - do not settle nor be content to just know of The Father, Son and Spirit ... let Him reveal His love to you personally. Experience Him!
