THE Good News

News junkies are starving for some good news! As Anne Murray sang so beautifully in 1983, "we sure could use a little good news today." The best good news is THE Good News from God that is summed up in an empty tomb! "I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people," the angel broadcast in Luke 2:10, Then THE Good News was personally delivered by God when "He gave His only Son [Jesus]" (John 3:16) to redeem mankind, reconciling us [by grace through faith] to The Creator. Sadly, like many good things go unreported today, the same is true for THE Good News of God's great Salvation. There's no lack of reporters or messengers; there's estimated hundreds of thousands who know THE Good News and Its Redeemer personally yet fail to share It. Jesus told His disciples (by the way, that's all Believers), "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." (Mark 16:15). I agree, we DO need some good news today. The reality is that the world is literally dying for Believers to do our jobs - to tell what we know, Lets give the world more than a little good news - let's give 'em THE Good News!
