Lips of Love

There are words sweet to the soul; two of which come from the lips of our Grands -- PopC and MomC.  Oh, how our hearts melt at those words!  In contrast, there are words that should never be spoken, i.e. “I hate my daddy.”  How it must grieve The Father’s heart how hearts are hardened because of sin.  Hear what Jesus said to His followers: “The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came from God.” (John 16:27b).  Believing hearts are rooted in Love of and for Christ, therefore, destructive words have no place in the tongue or lips.  Psalm 63:3 says, “Because Your steadfast Love is better than life, my lips will praise You.”  God’s Love is stronger than all of life’s challenges – relationships, situations, circumstances – aren’t we glad!  May it always be the delight of His Love on our lips!
