The Steady

My friend’s sister is a surgeon, and I’ve heard it said she has incredibly steady hands. I sure want the one operating on me to have steady hands!  In this life, we need steady hands, too.  Jude describes Christ, The Only True Steady: “Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling.” (Jude, Verse 24).   Storms will always come upon us, usually unexpectedly and like a tempest rocking our world.  Circumstances can daze and paralyze us, even cause us to lose our footing.  There is, however, One with steady hands Who loves deeply and Who is perfectly able-willing to keep us from falling. Let's yield to and rest confidently in Christ Jesus ... The Steady.
